Climate change is impacting not only the environment of our state, but also the general Western power grid. Lower lake levels, higher temperatures, etc., are a real thing that we need to address.
The one question that I keep asking is why don’t the state, counties and cities in Washington require solar panels on all new construction? I know the answer, and it is that the developers who pay for the campaigns of the legislators, council persons, etc., don’t want to incur the costs, even though those costs would be passed on to the buyer who would enjoy lower energy costs.
