
PARIVISION completed a dominant run, parlaying the top playoff seed into an equally dominant grand final, downing BetBoom Team 3-0 to take the championship at DreamLeague Season 26.
The Serbian Dota 2 squad lost just two matches, including none during the second stage or playoffs, to finish 14-2 and earn the $250,000 grand prize as part of the $1 million total purse.
PARIVISION took three straight wins playing in red Sunday, dispatching BetBoom in 30 minutes, 37 minutes and 48 minutes to earn the emphatic sweep.
Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov paced the winners with a 9.3 kills average, chipping in an additional 6.3 assists.
Ukraine’s Volodymyr “No(o)ne-” Minenko posted a kill-deaths-assists ration of 6.3-2.3-12.0, while Andrey “Dukalis” Kuropatkin averaged 16.0 assists, to lead PARIVISION.
Russia’s Danil “gpk” Skutin paced the losing side with 5.0 kills.
Earlier in the day, BetBoom advanced from the lower bracket by dispatching Talon Esports 2-1. BetBoom won in 33 minutes playing on green, Talon responded with a 30-minute win playing on red, before BetBoom closed things out with a 31-minute victory playing in green.
The online tournament began on May 19 with 16 teams divided into two groups of eight in Group Stage 1. The top four teams from each group advanced out of the opening phase.
Group Stage 2 consisted of a single round robin of best-of-three matches. The top four advanced to a double-elimination playoff bracket, featuring best-of-three matches until the best-of-five grand final on Sunday.
PARIVISON added a $40,000 club reward for the championship, as well as 7,200 ESL Pro Tour points.
