Presidential debate: Evaluate  accomplishments | The Seattle Times

On the battlefield, an officer must think on his feet quickly, react quickly and perform without second-guessing himself in real time — snap judgment. A president, however, faced with a momentous decision, is surrounded by surrogates to consult with who are presumed to be the best and the brightest; is seated comfortably; and is, at the end of the day, the final word after much deliberation. These are two vastly different scenarios requiring two completely different sets of qualifications.

I do not question President Joe Biden’s ability to parse data and then make an informed choice, nor do I question his motives, integrity or patriotism. While it is true that President Biden is an old man by any definition, I believe firmly that he is a good man, and still quite capable of leading this nation and the free world honorably and efficiently for four more years. Evaluate his accomplishments to date.

Given the alternative, and what is at stake pertaining to too many upcoming monumental decisions to recount here, and after serious thought, a horrible debate performance changes my support for President Biden not one iota.
